Ferncroft Country Club blends a rich heritage of golfing excellence with preeminent service in a family-friendly, first-class private club. As a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed championship course, Ferncroft has a storied history, most notably in hosting the LGPA Boston Five Classic from 1980-90.
In 2006 new owner Affinity Management began revitalizing the Club in what was called one of the top five club launches in the US. Affinity has breathed new life into the club, with a first-rate management team to carry out that vision, along with over $15 million in capital investments over the last 15 years. Ferncroft CC is now independent of the nearby Sheraton hotel for the first time in decades, and all Club facilities are owned and operated by the Club. In 2007 Ferncroft founded the Ferncroft CC Junior Scholarship Program , which provides disadvantaged youths with the opportunity to learn and play golf. Ferncroft CC is dedicated to giving back to the community as well as its philanthropic staff. Ferncroft CC annually holds a Junior Golf Celebrity Classic to benefit the non-profit foundation.
