Practice Facilities

Built when the Topsfield/Middleton area was mostly rural, Ferncroft CC has an unusually spacious practice area relative to other premier Boston area private clubs. In 2007 our driving range was expanded 40 yards so that golfers may hit any club, including driver. At the same time a 40,000 square foot grass hitting-surface was constructed and a synthetic turf tee was built on top of the newly-graded area for use when turf is dormant. The range is conveniently located near the pro shop and cart staging area.

There is also a short game practice area, primarily for shots of 30-40 yards, plus a dedicated chipping green. The seven hole par-three executive course is also an excellent place to work on one’s game.
